Details   This NZ native mistletoe prefers coastal and lowland locations, they rarely extend into upper montane forest. Prefers shrub land and secondary regrowth. Has been found growing on nearly three hundred indigenous and exotic hosts but all also grow on apple trees. Once established a plant is capable of suckering back onto the same bunch multiple times as seen the one of the photoss
